About Us
Welcome to the Developmental Learning Center - Warren
The Developmental Learning Centers (DLC), administered by the Morris-Union Jointure Commission (MUJC), provide a public school program based on the principles of applied behavior analysis for students with autism or autistic-like behavior. They employ the principles of applied behavior analysis and its various instructional methodologies. This involves analyzing a skill and breaking it down into small tasks taught in a structured and hierarchical manner. A very important aspect of applied behavior analysis is reinforcement.
The DLC - Warren enrolls students between the ages of approximately 13 and 21 years of age. Students enrolled at the Developmental Learning Center follow individualized educational plans developed by their local child study teams, DLC staff and parents.
